On November 5th, IEQSY was honored to participate in BeTech 2024, an event organized by the UPM university and the student association BEST Madrid UPM. This event brought together students, teachers and leading companies, providing a unique opportunity to connect young talent with the challenges of the industry.

IEQSY at BeTech 2024: Innovation and Career Opportunities

Alfredo José Jiménez Guédez, Director of Engineering at IEQSY, led a conference in which he shared the company’s vision on power quality and the importance of optimizing performance in industrial facilities. During the session, Alfredo addressed key issues, such as the need to implement power quality solutions that reduce emissions, optimize costs and favor a sustainable environment.

We want to show how our technology not only improves efficiency, but is also a tool to reduce emissions and strengthen sustainability in industry,” said Alfredo during his speech.

Fostering Young Talent in the Energy Efficiency Sector

In addition to the conference, the IEQSY team participated in a networking day with UPM students. This space allowed future engineers to learn first-hand about the opportunities that IEQSY offers in the professional field and its projects in energy efficiency.

Lidia Rivas, Head of Human Resources at IEQSY, expressed her enthusiasm for the students’ potential: “We were surprised by the quality and enthusiasm of the students. We saw a lot of young talent that we hope to collaborate with in the future.” In this regard, IEQSY invited some students to an open house so they could learn more about the company’s facilities and projects.

IEQSY’s Commitment to Education and Sustainability

Participation in BeTech 2024 reinforces IEQSY’s commitment to education and sustainability. The company continues to collaborate with academic institutions such as UPM to inspire and train future industrial engineers in the field of energy efficiency. Through initiatives such as BeTech, IEQSY actively contributes to bridging the gap between academia and industry, supporting the next generation of professionals in their development.

Looking to the Future with Today’s Engineers

For IEQSY, events like BeTech are an invaluable opportunity to approach young talent and share its mission to improve energy quality in industrial sectors. “There is a lot of talent in the early years of training, we have found real diamonds in the rough. This day is just the beginning of a collaboration that we hope will be very fruitful,” said Angela Sbrizzi, IEQSY Project Manager.

With a focus on sustainability and the impact of energy efficiency on business productivity, IEQSY continues to innovate and lead the industry, while fostering the young talent that will build the future of the industry.
